Guess the Pokémon #-20609
One Pokémon a day, the same for everyone playing your generations.
Everyone playing your generation range chases the same secret Pokémon today, cracking it through a grid of attribute clues.
How Guess the Pokémon works
The date picks one Pokémon that is identical for every player on the same UTC day within your chosen generations. Each name you enter fills a row of attribute cells: type slots, evolution stage, color, habitat, height, weight, and generation. Green marks an exact match, yellow flags a shared type, and an arrow tells you whether the true height, weight, or stage runs higher or lower. There is no guess limit and no give-up button; instead a hint ladder unlocks as misses pile up, surfacing the first type, then the second, an ability, the opening letter, and finally a redacted dex line. Solving locks the day and extends your streak.
Strategy
Treat the arrows as a bracket rather than a nudge. Once one guess says the weight is higher and another says lower, you have pinned a range, and the same trick works for height and evolution stage. Lean on the type cells too: a yellow means that type sits somewhere in the pair, so pivot to Pokémon carrying it in the other slot. Because the answer matches everyone else's, hold a risky letter-fishing guess until the ladder has already handed you a type or two.
What it teaches
The daily builds a mental cross-index of the dex: which species share a typing, where each sits in its evolution line, and the rough physical scale of Pokémon you might never otherwise line up side by side.
