A single name appears, and you decide whether it is a real medication, a made-up name, or an actual Pokémon.

How Drug, Fake or Pokémon? works

One name sits alone on the screen, and you judge what it is. It might be a real medicine, shown as either its brand or its active ingredient, or it might be a Pokémon pulled from the full dex. The point is how easily the two blur, since invented Pokémon names and real pharmaceutical names share the same odd, coined-sound texture. After each call the game tells you what the name actually was, with a short factual note for the medicines. Play endless until a miss, a ten-round quiz, or a sixty-second sprint. Hard mode adds a third option: made-up names that are neither.

Strategy

Read the sound of the word rather than reaching for recognition, because plenty of real Pokémon names look invented and plenty of medicines look like creatures. Drug names often lean on hard consonants and clipped clinical endings, while Pokémon names tend toward softer, playful, more onomatopoeic shapes. When a name could pass for either, favor the pattern it matches most closely, not a vague sense of familiarity. In hard mode, treat anything that fits neither mold cleanly as a likely made-up name.

The game is really about language: how coined names get their feel from sound and spelling. You come away more attentive to the patterns behind pharmaceutical branding and Pokémon naming alike, and better at telling two very different naming traditions apart at a glance.
