A Pokémon appears and you name the single colour the Pokédex officially files it under, not the one you would pick.

How Guess the Colour works

One Pokémon sprite fills the screen and you choose its official Pokédex colour from four swatched options. The catch is that the answer is the games' own classification, which sorts every species into ten flat categories: red, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown, pink, gray, white, and black. That system often disagrees with your eyes, filing a mostly cream creature as white or a dark green one as black. A short reveal beat lights the correct swatch and names it after every pick. Endless chases a streak, quiz runs a fixed set, and timed races the clock, with pass and play for two.

Strategy

Learn to answer as the dex, not as a painter. It keys on the single dominant body colour, so ignore small accents and ask which flat category covers the largest area. The traps are the in-between shades: teal skews blue, cream skews white, and anything murky often lands on brown or black. When two colours feel equally right, favour the one the games treat as a bucket rather than the one that simply looks most vivid.
