One Pokémon's stat is on the table and the next one's is hidden. Call whether that mystery number lands higher or lower.

How Higher or Lower works

Two Pokémon appear side by side under a single stat, drawn from the six base stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed. The left number is shown while the right stays hidden behind a placeholder, and you simply decide whether that concealed value is higher or lower. Guess right and the pair rolls forward, the freshly revealed number carrying into your next read. In an endless run your streak climbs with every correct call and ends the instant you miss, so a single wrong read wipes the board. Quiz and timed formats swap that sudden death for a fixed count of rounds.

Strategy

Learn the stat archetypes instead of memorizing raw numbers. Frail sweepers post high Speed and Special Attack with thin Defense, while walls invert that shape entirely. When the shown value sits at an extreme, near zero or near the ceiling, the safe call is obvious, so answer those confidently and save your caution for the middling numbers where two unremarkable Pokémon sit only a few points apart.

What it teaches

Higher or Lower builds an intuitive feel for how base stats spread across the dex, teaching which species lean offensive, defensive, or fast, and roughly where any given number falls on the scale.
