Identify a Pokémon from a heavily blurred trading card that sharpens one notch with every wrong answer you give.

How PokéCard works

The round opens on a real Trading Card Game card crushed down to coarse blocks, and your task is to name the Pokémon pictured on it. You have six guesses. Each miss clears the pixelation by a single step, so the artwork resolves from a smear of color into readable detail across the six tries, while a correct call snaps it fully sharp at once. Every wrong name you enter stays listed with a red mark, and when the card is finally revealed you also see the actual species the illustration was portraying.

Strategy

Spend your earliest guesses reading the palette and composition instead of forcing a name. Card art frames each Pokémon in its own colors and posture, so a cool aquatic pose or a fiery orange mass narrows the field long before the linework appears. Hold your commitment until roughly the third clarity step, when the silhouette and shading emerge, trading a couple of cheap early misses for a far safer read rather than gambling blind on step one.
