Think of any Pokémon and answer yes, no, or not sure while the engine narrows the whole dex down to your pick.

How PokéGuesser works

You hold one Pokémon in your head and never type it. The engine asks up to twenty yes or no questions, and it does not ask randomly: each one is chosen to split the remaining pool as close to fifty-fifty as possible, with broad categories like legendary, starter, or Eeveelution asked before fine details like a single stat. Every answer trims the candidates, and a confidence meter climbs as the field shrinks. Not sure skips a whole group of related questions at once. Once three or fewer remain, it commits to a guess, ranked by how likely you are to be thinking of it.

Strategy

Answer precisely and the engine wins faster, but if you want to stump it, pick something obscure. It leans on popularity when it guesses, so a base-form starter or a Gen 1 icon gets caught quickly, while a mid-evolution from a late generation drags the field out. Use not sure honestly rather than guessing on stats you do not know, since a wrong yes or no can steer it away from your Pokémon for good.

What it teaches

Pokéguesser is a lesson in how twenty questions actually works: you watch each split roughly halve the possibilities, and you learn which attributes, like type or evolution stage, carry the most identifying weight.
