How Starter Identity works

Fifteen role-playing scenarios put you on the first morning of a Pokémon adventure, and each option feeds two kinds of score: an elemental lean toward fire, grass, or water, and a temperament among brave, calm, kind, clever, and curious. When the scenarios run out, your totals rank a roster of starters, and the best fit becomes yours while second place lands as a companion. A separate match reads your dominant temperament to assign a classic first route partner. Your starter is then saved, so it carries straight into the Pallet Town text adventure as the partner you begin with.

Strategy

Your element is decided by the situations you gravitate toward, not by picking the fire answer on purpose, so read each scenario as a real fork and choose how you would move. If you are aiming for a specific starter, note that the roster reaches past the three classics into picks like Riolu, Eevee, and Cubone, so leaning hard into one temperament shapes the result as much as the element does.
