Two Pokémon, one stat. Pick the winner.

Two Pokémon, one stat, one winner. Pick which of the pair posts the higher number and keep your streak breathing.

How Stat Showdown works

A single stat is named at the top, then two Pokémon are shown as tappable cards with no numbers on either side. Your job is to pick which one wins that stat outright, whether it is HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed. The reveal names the victor and its value, then a fresh pair steps in. Both faces stay blank until you commit, so this is pure head to head judgment with no digits to anchor on. Endless keeps a streak that survives until your first wrong pick, quiz runs a fixed set, and timed races the clock.

Strategy

Because neither value is shown, you are ranking two Pokémon from memory alone, so anchor on the clear outlier in the matchup. A famous glass cannon almost always takes Attack or Speed over a bulky tank, which in turn wins Defense and HP. Watch the evolution gap too: a fully evolved Pokémon usually outclasses an unevolved one across the board, making stage the fastest tiebreaker when the typing feels even.

What it teaches

Stat Showdown sharpens direct comparison, training you to rank any two species head to head and to recognize the offensive or defensive identity that decides a single stat.
