See a Pokémon and its typing, then pick the move type that hits it super effectively before the clock or your streak runs out.

How Super Effective works

A Pokémon appears with its type badges, and you choose which attacking type lands a super effective hit, meaning a combined multiplier above one against its full typing. Normal mode offers four type options with a single right answer, hard mode flips the ask to the resisted or immune type, and master mode hides the typing entirely and has you judge a named attack as super, not very, immune, or neutral. Endless keeps a streak, quiz runs a fixed set, and timed stacks combo points that multiply as your streak climbs.

Strategy

Chain the defensive weaknesses you already know: Water fears Grass and Electric, Fire folds to Water, Ground, and Rock. Dual types multiply their weaknesses, so a Rock and Flying Pokémon eats a brutal four times hit from Electric. Mind the era you have set, because the matchup chart shifts with it: Steel and Dark only exist from Gen 2, and Fairy interactions only apply from Gen 6, which is why your best timed score is saved separately per era.
