How Unlimited works
Every round hands you a fresh random Pokémon drawn from your selected generations, and you narrow it down with the identical grid of green, yellow, and directional cells the daily uses. Nothing caps how many rounds you play, so you can chain them back to back, and an in-progress board is saved if you wander off and return. Stuck or just curious? The give-up option ends the round cleanly and reveals the answer. When you would rather share a couch, the pass-and-play setup turns it into a match: players alternate guesses on one board and race to a win target across rounds.
Strategy
Use unlimited as a laboratory for openers. Fix your generation range, then play the same first guess every round for a while and watch which cells it tends to light: a species central in typing and size teaches you more per turn than a corner-case legendary. With no streak to protect, deliberately chase the Pokémon you always confuse and give up early to see the answer rather than grinding. That loop hardens the exact recognitions the timed and daily modes later punish you for missing.
What it teaches
Endless play turns attribute deduction into reflex: reading a row of type, size, and evolution clues and converging on a candidate without hesitation, plus a real feel for how strong any given opening guess actually is.
