How Zoomed In works

The round opens on official artwork cropped to an extreme eight-times zoom, so at first you see little more than an eye, a scale, or a patch of fur. You get six guesses, and each miss steps the camera back along a fixed ladder (eight, five, three and a half, and onward) until the final attempt shows the whole picture at full size. The crop centers on a point unique to each Pokémon and identical for every player, so the shared daily stays fair. Names you have already tried stay pinned below, and a daily round locks once finished while unlimited lets you reroll forever.

Strategy

Spend the first look on texture and palette, not identity. An extreme crop still betrays whether you are seeing feathers, a shell, metal, or flame, and the color band alone rules out large families. Hold your early guesses rather than firing blind, since every miss you save is a wider frame later; yet each guess also buys information, so the balance is to commit only when the newly revealed slice truly changes your shortlist. Corner details like a horn tip or fin often name a Pokémon before its face does.
